Which Mac do I have?
Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner and choose About This Mac. If the chip line says Apple M1 (or any M-number), grab Apple Silicon. If it says Intel, grab Intel. That's it.
The Windows installer is signed with Azure Trusted Signing. A brand-new signature has no SmartScreen reputation yet, so Windows may warn “unknown publisher” on the first few installs — that's expected and clears as installs add up.

Yes — it’s part of SnapEasy, not a separate purchase. Sign in with your account and go.
Why would I use this instead of the web version?
Same rescue, different room. The web version does the work on our servers; the desktop app does it on your machine — better for huge exports and for anyone who’d rather their memories never travel.
Does it work offline?
After you’ve signed in once, the rescue itself runs without a connection. Your files never need one.
