About SnapEasy

SnapEasy was built specifically to solve the Snapchat Memories export problem before Snapchat locks Memories behind a paywall in January 2027. It's an independent tool. We are not affiliated with Snap Inc.

What SnapEasy does

Snapchat exports your Memories, but the raw export is a technical data package, not a usable photo library: it comes without metadata, GPS info is stripped, and captions and overlays are separated from the base media. SnapEasy restores original capture dates and turns the export into an organized archive:

• Original capture dates restored to EXIF
• GPS location written back into every file
• Stickers & captions baked into the frame
• Long videos rejoined from Snapchat's 10-second clips
• Clean, date-sorted file names

Two ways to use it

The offline app (macOS and Windows) does the whole conversion on your own computer; your export never leaves your device. The online service does the work on our servers: you upload your export and we email you a finished archive, with nothing to install. Both produce the same organized archive.

How we handle your files

Uploads auto-delete in 48 hours, and no human ever sees them. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for AI training. The privacy policy lists the third-party services we use.
